Highest Rated TV Shows on Google
Google used to show a star rating beside films and shows in search results, then retired the feature. This ranking is built from a snapshot taken while those ratings were still published — about 6,900 titles. It is a record of what Google's audience thought at that point. Google no longer publishes these figures, and the snapshot is frozen: it will not update.

About these ratings
- Can you still see Google ratings for movies?
- Not from Google. It retired the star ratings it used to show beside films and shows in search results, and no longer publishes them. The figures on this page come from a snapshot taken while they were still available.
- Where do the Google ratings on this page come from?
- A snapshot of roughly 6,900 titles captured while Google was still publishing them. They are frozen at that point and will not change, which is why every title here shows its vote count as well — so you can judge how much weight the number carries.
- Is a Google rating the same as an IMDb or Rotten Tomatoes score?
- No. Google's was an audience rating out of five stars, gathered from ordinary search users rather than from registered film sites or critics. That makes it a genuinely different sample from IMDb's voters or Rotten Tomatoes' critics, which is why it is worth keeping alongside them rather than folding into them.
- How is the MEANRANK score different?
- The MEANRANK score beside each title averages every platform that rates it — IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes, Metacritic, Letterboxd and more — onto one 0–100 scale. The Google figure is one input to that, and this page ranks by the Google figure alone.
