See the films the platforms disagree about most →A mermaid is captured by poachers, who sever her tail and imprison her in a mental institution, where she is deemed delusional for claiming to be a sea creature. Trapped in a human body and surrounded by patients struggling with their own realities, she forms bonds with three women. Together, they plot an escape to return her to the ocean. The mermaid's presence and determination inspire her new friends to confront their own captors, both literal and figurative, in a story about finding strength in solidarity and the will to be free.
