An American astronaut lands his ship on a distant planet, expecting to find barren terrain. Instead, he discovers a thriving world of green-skinned, humanoid aliens living in a peaceful 1950s-style suburbia. He is immediately labeled an alien invader and must evade capture by the local military while relying on a teenage local to help him recover his ship and return home.
