It follows the ambitious young Sultan Mehmet II, who is determined to achieve what his ancestors could not: conquer the impregnable city walls. The film portrays the massive military preparations, the political intrigue within both camps, and the fierce battles from the perspective of the Ottoman forces. It builds toward the climactic conflict that would mark the end of the Middle Ages and establish a new empire.
