A dynamic and energetic young woman from the city arrives in a sleepy, traditional small town. Her modern ideas and vivacious personality immediately clash with the town's sedate and conservative ways. She proceeds to shake things up, organizing new events, challenging old norms, and sparking romantic interest, effectively "waking up" the entire community to a new way of life, for better or for worse.
