A seasoned detective in 1980s Louisiana arrests a skilled contract killer. Instead of sending him to prison, the detective offers the hitman a deal: help him bring down a powerful and corrupt crime ring in exchange for his freedom. The hitman agrees, but the alliance is fraught with tension and danger, as both men navigate the treacherous criminal underworld where loyalties are fragile and trust is a liability.
