A street-smart Detroit detective travels to Beverly Hills to investigate the murder of his best friend. His unconventional methods and brash attitude clash with the pristine, by-the-book culture of the Beverly Hills Police Department. He must navigate the cultural divide and use his quick wit to unravel a dangerous criminal conspiracy that the local police are unaware of.
