See the films the platforms disagree about most →The narrative intertwines two stories set in different eras. In modern-day Montreal, a successful DJ leaves his family for a new love, causing immense pain to his ex-wife and children. In 1960s Paris, a devoted mother tirelessly cares for her young son who has Down syndrome, fighting to give him a life of happiness against societal prejudices. These two tales of love, loss, and obsession are connected by a mysterious thread, exploring the idea of soulmates and the enduring, sometimes destructive, power of love across lifetimes.
