A man fails in his suicide attempt by jumping off a bridge and ends up stranded on a small, deserted island in the middle of the Han River in Seoul. Presumed dead, he must learn to survive using debris from the city. His only connection to the world is a reclusive woman who observes him from her apartment window and begins sending messages in bottles.
