See the films the platforms disagree about most →Set in the expatriate community of Mexico City after World War II, the story follows a American man grappling with loneliness, desire, and addiction. He becomes infatuated with a younger naval officer, leading him on a obsessive journey through the city's vibrant and seedy underworld. The narrative is a contemplative exploration of unrequited love, alienation, and the search for connection in a foreign land.
