In a traditional Dhaka neighborhood, the head of a conservative family strictly forbids the ownership of televisions, believing they corrupt moral values. His family and neighbors, however, are desperate to watch the 2006 World Cup football tournament. A comedic battle of wills ensues as the entire community conspires to bring a TV into the neighborhood without the patriarch finding out.
