See the films the platforms disagree about most →In war-torn Italy during World War II, a shopkeeper flees Rome with her devout teenage daughter to escape the Allied bombing. They travel to their rural birthplace, hoping to find safety in the countryside. Their journey is a harrowing ordeal of survival, exposing them to the horrors of war and the brutality of soldiers on all sides. The experience shatters their innocence and bonds them together through shared trauma.
